Credit line from Norwegian Export Credit Agency

As part of this cooperation, the GIEK approved a credit limit of up to $1 billion to fund the procurement, by Petrobras, of goods and services from Norwegian companies. Funding will be divided into two tranches: one worth $300 million, which can be disbursed immediately after the signing of the financing, based on existing contracts; and the remaining $700 million contingent upon the availability of new contracting.
This announcement is not an offer of Petrobras shares. Petrobras shares may not be offered or sold in the United States absent registration or an exemption from registration, and Petrobras currently intends to register the proposed offering in the United States. Any public offering of Petrobras shares will be made by means of a prospectus containing detailed information about Petrobras and the offering.
