Gazprom Neft has completed 3-D seismic survey work on the Equatorial Guinea shelf (block T) in the Niger Delta river basin. Siemens has entered into an agreement to acquire the two subsea specialists Poseidon Group AS and Bennex Group AS from Subsea Technology Group AS, Norway. Terms of the join t venture involve Repsol agreeing to a broad-reaching exploration and development program on leasehold held by 70 and GMT, with Repsol and 70 collaborating on all aspects of the program, Repsol's working interest after this transaction will be 70%.
In February 2011, 2,8 million tons of Azerbaijani oil was transported via the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan main export pipeline. 5,7 million tons of oil were transported through this pipeline during January-February 2011.
