According to Andrey Mirgorodskiy, waterflood manager in Sorochinskneft’s field development section, the main objective of these interventions is to achieve an annual oil output level of 10 million tonnes.In 2009, Sorochinskneft produced around 9.2 million tonnes of oil, which was 3.9% above plan and 6.2% more than in 2008.
