OJSC "Turboatom" implemented commissioning of runner for HPP La Yeska

On the 28th of May load was dispatched, it follows course Kharkov-Poltava-Kiev-port Iliechevsk. In total equipment will overcome distance in 1000 km and drive till 60 bridge buildings.
Transportation of such large-size load will implement by special transporter of weight-carrying ability till 300 t. Because of unique equipment transportation till Illiechevsk Sea Trade Port (Odessa) will implement about 4 days. By all course of following load will accompany with workers of government auto inspection.
In Illichevsk port hydro set will be dispatched to the boat and delivered in Mexico. During two months equipment will be on site of hydro power plant.
The cargo transportation is implemented LLC “Chernomorenergospecmontazg”. The course of following was done and agreed by conformed services. The works were conducted on research and repair of bridges and roads over all course of runner movement.
The contract of OJSC “Turboatom” according with Russian concern “Power machines” on equipment delivery for HPP La Yeska was concluded on March 2008. According with contract “Turboatom” will manufacture and deliver to Mexican HPP of two hydro turbines with built spherical valves with unit capacity 380 MW.
At this stage on building object of hydro power plant is finishing erection of embedded parts of the first hydro set and it is preparation to its concreting.
Entering station in commissioning is planned to 2012. Total nominal capacity HPP La Yeska will include 750 MW.
