“Pskovenergo” will give 590 kW of capacity for power supply of micro district at the first stage in the year of 2010

Branch of IDGC of Northwest, JSC “Pskovenergo” will provide the technological connection of power receivers of new micro district №12 in the regional center. The construction of dwelling houses and social infrastructure has already begun at Zapskovie, within the boundaries of streets Zvezdnaya, Yunost’ and Inzhenernaya.
The increase of capacities for the new region of the capital construction will take place in two stages. At the first stage in 2010 “Pskovenergo” will represent 590 kW of capacity for power supply of the district. The capacity asked by the constructors for electrification of facilities being built of the second stage amounts to 3610 kv.
In the preparation course of technical conditions for power supply of three quarters of the micro district being built, the existing main substations of city electric grids were maximally considered. Due to the growth of loads, the powermen plan to implement a transfer of distribution center #14 and a series of transformers substations 6 kv involved in the power supply diagram to the voltage of 10 kv.
As it was emphasized in the Administration of the technological connection and perspective development of Pskov Power Company, these decisions correspond fully to the approved Scheme of the reconstruction and development of electric grids of city of Pskov till 2015. Besides that the construction of ten more modular integrated transformer substations 10/0, 4 kv is planned in the territory of the construction site in centers of electric loads. It’s worth noticing that over 4, 5 thousand flats will be constructed in the territory of the new micro district. The total area will be 26, 15 ha. As planned about 10 thousand citizens of Pskov will live here.
