“Institute Teploelectroproject” completed development of Design documentation for Novourengoyskiy Gas and Chemical Combine’s CCPP-120 MW

At this time, the Design documentation is undergoing review at FSE “Glavgosexpertiza” of Russia (RF State design review entity). Еxperts of “Institute Teploelectroproject” will proceed with field supervision at construction site.
Rated capacity of Novourengoyskiy Gas and Chemical combine producing ethylene and high pressure polyethylene, which promises to become one of the Russian major chemical combines, will amount to about 400 thousand ton polyethylene per year.
Within the structure of gas and chemical combine there is a gas turbine power station with 120 MW aggregate electric capacity. Gas turbine power station is designed for electric and thermal loads of ООО “NGCC” and for electric capacity output to Federal Grid Company of the Unified Energy System of Russia.
“Specialists of “Institute Teploelectroproject” who have a vast experience in designing energy facilities for various climatic zones developed a unique design concept for construction of CCPP at the territory belonging to permafrost area. These circumstance influenced the choice of technologies proposed to the Customer; these technologies must correspond to the requirements of up-to-date production facility which is now under construction in Novyi Urengoy” – noted Igor Mikhailov, Director of “Institute Teploelectroproject” (branch of “Engineering Center UES”).
