«EuroSibEnergo» Completed Generating Capacities OREM Input

Starting from 1 January 2010, the EuroSibEnergy Avtozavodskaya CHP located at Nizhniy Novgorod city has started operation. The status of OREM subject has been given to the CHP by decision of the Management Board of “Market Council” Non-profit Partnership at the end of December 2009. The installed capacity of the Actozavodskaya CHP equals 580 MWT. Annual electric energy production is about 2.5 billion KWT-h.
As of today, the Avtozavodskaya CHP is the only electric energy station of EuroSibEnergy operating at the first price zone of the energy market.
The Krasnoyarsk HPP has started operating at the OREM earlier, on 1 January 2009. Generating capacities of JSC “Irkutskenergo” have been consistently input at the OREM over the period up to 2005.
“Full scale operation of LLC EuroSibenergo at the OREM is to positively influence financial results of the company and allow for benefit from lasting electric energy market liberalization” noted Alexander Sergeev, the En+ Group Managing Director for Energy Sector. Additional incomes from operation of the Avtozavodskaya CHP at the market will be spent at the station’s modernization as well.
At the same time, the status of OREM subject has been granted on 1 January 2010 to CJSC “Vologdaenergosbyt” retail company which enters the structure of LLC EuroSibenergo and is a guaranteeing electric energy supplier at the territory of the Nizhniy Novgorod region. Entering the OREM is to widen the company’s possibilities in the field of electric energy tariffs increase control for inhabitants and industrial consumers of the Nizhniy Novgorod region.
LLC EuroSibenergo is one Russia’s largest independent energy companies. It is a part of En+ Group. Installed capacity of the Company’s generating assets equals 19,500 MWT (more than 15,000 MWT belonging to HPP). Heating capacity is equal to 17,570 Gcal-h. Annual electric energy production is about 80 billion KWTh. Heating energy production equals about 30 billion Gcal. The share at the Russia’s electric energy market is about 9%.
