CPC accepted the 10-millionth ton of oil from LUKOIL

CPC Operations specialists note that this operations milestone was achieved in full compliance with the HSE norms.

Oil from Filanovsky Field on the Caspian coast developed by LUKOIL was first injected into the CPC Pipeline System on October 1, 2016. Oil is delivered by the subsea pipe to the shore facilities tank farm and is then injected into the Caspian Pipeline Consortium system to be transported for export.

Komsomolskaya PS equipment modernization was completed in April 2014 as part of Phase 1 of the CPC Expansion Project. In particular, custody transfer meters, a laboratory and a chemicals warehouse were built, new pumps, oil and firewater tanks, mud strainers and a surge relief system were installed.
