CPC accepted the 10-millionth ton of oil from LUKOIL

CPC Operations specialists note that this operations milestone was achieved in full compliance with the HSE norms.

Oil from Filanovsky Field on the Caspian coast developed by LUKOIL was first injected into the CPC Pipeline System on October 1, 2016. To transport its hydrocarbons to the shore the company built a system of subsea and overland oil and gas pipelines. Oil is delivered by the subsea pipe to the shore facilities tank farm and is then injected into the Caspian Pipeline Consortium system to be transported for export.

Komsomolskaya PS equipment modernization was completed in April 2014 as part of Phase 1 of the CPC Expansion Project. In particular, custody transfer meters, a laboratory and a chemicals warehouse were built, new pumps, oil and firewater tanks, mud strainers and a surge relief system were installed.

CPC Pipeline System is one of the major investment projects in energy sector with participation of foreign capital in the CIS. The length of the Tengiz–Novorossiysk Pipeline is 1,511 km; it transports over two thirds of all Kazakhstan export crude, as well as crude from Russian oil fields, including the Caspian Region. CPC Marine Terminal is equipped with three Single Point Moorings (SPM) that allow to load tankers safely at a significant distance offshore, also amid poor weather conditions.

N.V. - 2% and Oryx Caspian Pipeline LLC – 1.75%.
