The Kaluga Turbine Works continues the modernization of production

The first turning and milling machine, equipped with high-torque milling units, will be installed in the turbogenerator shop. In Q3, three more similar machines will arrive at the KTZ, as well as a horizontal boring machine with rotary tables, which will be installed in the power turbine workshop.

As explained by the general director of OJSC "Kaluga turbine works" Yuri Mamin, the purpose of the modernization is the renewal of the enterprise's machinery park using high-tech equipment. New machines not only increase the efficiency and quality of production, but also contribute to the development of technical specialists' skills within the enterprise, since the work on them requires additional knowledge and skills.
