Rosenergoatom Concern and the Government of the Republic of Bashkortostan have signed an Agreement on cooperation

These are the results of the official visit to Bashkortostan of Rosenergoatom delegation, headed by General Director of the Concern Sergey Obozov.
The Agreement subject covers the interaction between the parties during preparation of investments projects and design of strategic programs for development of the northwest Bashkortostan within the framework of the project of the industrial park called “Bashkortostan Construction Materials” which is to be implemented in Agidel city on the base of asset complex – “Directory of Constructed Bashkir NPP”.
The agreement also provides opportunities to use the infrastructure transmitted to the industrial park for Bashkir NPP construction – in case of taking a relevant decision after 2020.
During the visit, representatives of the Concern visited the construction base facilities in Agidel city and discussed a number of issues relating to the prospects of the region’s power industry development.
In the afternoon General Director of Rosenergoatom Concern OJSC Sergey Obozov will meet the President of the Republic of Bashkortostan Rustem Khamitov, and the parties will discuss prospects of mutually beneficial cooperation.
The establishment of the “Bashkortostan Construction Materials” Industrial Park”in Agidel city on the base of the asset complex, called “Directory of Constructed Bashkir NPP”, is a priority direction not only for Agidel city, but for the whole north-east of the Republic of Bashkortostan as well. The Industrial Park will attract the investments of different levels. The realization of the project will promote employment of the population, increase their incomes and create conditions for investments attraction, development of industrial, investment and innovation potentials of the Republic of Bashkortostan, and increase in tax revenues to the city and republic budgets.
